Indigo Curacao by pntbll248 Indigo Curacao by pntbll248
A simple drink

One part Blue Curacao
One part 40% White Rum
Blueberry juice to taste
Equal lemon-lime juice to taste

Combine in cocktail shaker with ice, shake vigorously and strain into martini glass. Garnish with blueberry on a toothpick. This cocktail may contain 2 or more drinks depending on the size of the cocktail glass -- always drink responsibly.

Virgin Indigo Curacao:

Curacao is quite hard to substitute, but another blue drink can be made. Take a blue Kool-Aid (or other brand), add orange bitters to taste, and blueberry juice to taste. A bit of lemon and/or lime juice is necessary to offset the sweetness of the drink. Run a lemon over the edge of a martini glass, pour some sugar into a small saucer, and dip the edges of the glass into the sugar. Finally, shake the drink with ice and strain into the martini glass. Blue food coloring can be used to get a deeper blue, as the drink will be a light blue or light purple.

Still trying to get into a bit of drink photography :)
